To help as many people as possible understand a truth too often ignored by Western ‘reactive’ medicine.

Treating the symptoms of ill health does NOT address what’s causing it.

Now you might thinking, ‘well that’s obvious.’ And yes, to more and more people it is.

However, too many others just haven’t stopped to consider how they (and probably their doctor) are ‘treating’ symptoms that range from annoying to painful to perhaps even dangerous.

Most of the prescription drugs or over-the-counter pills or potions you get at the pharmacy are made to treat symptoms only. Nothing about the cause has really been ‘fixed.’

You feel better for a while, and just accept that’s the best you can do - it’s ‘just how I am.’ And when the aches or pains or rashes or swelling or runny nose happen again, you go back to the doctor and soon buy more of what makes you feel better… for a little while.

Then, in a few weeks or months, you repeat it all again. Ever wonder why?

Perhaps no one has ever told you that ill health is never a natural state for your body. Good health is! Your symptoms simply mean something isn’t working right.

However, let me back up a little first, and tell you more about how I got here, and exactly why I can help you.

Why I pursued this avenue in health care…

I’ve been chiropractic physician for over 25 years. Along with my wife Dr. Risa Sloves, also a chiropractor, we share a diverse practice in Norwalk, Connecticut.

I have helped infants, children and adults suffering with many types of health problems including allergies, gastric reflux, asthma, fatigue, and eczema, moving well beyond the usual ‘neck pain’ and spinal adjustments most people associate with ‘Chiro’s.’

Because chiropractic has long been viewed as an ‘alternative’ approach to health care, I was very comfortable with a more natural and holistic sense of what keeps us healthy.

This was all challenged in May of 2000.

We were trying to help a beautiful 19-month old redheaded girl, whose fair, white skin would turn red and raw at times because she was suffering with eczema. It just wouldn't go away, no matter what natural remedy was tried.

We were frustrated, and at the point of using medications, which we really hoped to avoid. Then, we made a major discovery. It was THE breakthrough we were searching for. Soon, because of this amazing new discovery and treatment, her eczema was gone, and it NEVER returned.

That little girl’s name is Alana. My wife and I are her parents. Amazingly to us, she’s now college age, yet it has always been very clear that this ordeal provided the new insights that fueled my curiosity and professional mission ever since.

It may be why I can help you (or someone you know and love) if you are suffering with various health problems. It's actually (and sadly), quite common in our society, but many just don't know what it is.

As my career developed, I became more involved in the importance of nutrition, and the absolutely vital role it plays in helping us return to and maintain optimal health.

A whole new world was introduced to me. A world that, I discovered, offers the hidden key to health for people suffering with all types of health problems, whether acute or chronic.

So let's get back to Alana. What was causing her suffering? Ready? Alana's eczema was actually related to HIDDEN food sensitivities and food 'allergies.' We obviously had no clue these existed until her body expressed the problem through her skin when certain foods were ingested.

Perhaps just like you right now, we had our ‘reason why’ moment to learn more. You should be assured I know how it feels to struggle with this ‘why,’ and I am looking forward to helping you answer that question, and finally treat the cause.

Now, I don't know why you are reading this…
